First I would like to say that this was a GREAT movie!

After watching the animated film Despicable me I was completely flabbergasted. This particular animated movie directed by Pierre Coffin and Chris Renaud, had to be one of the most enjoyable animated movies that I have watched.
Being that I do give non-Disney cartoon films a hard time this had a certain light that made me love the after the beginning 20 minutes, which were agonizingly boring. When we actually get to Gru and his daily life the boredom still continues to have a weariness that leaves one seeing both scenes which are cliche and quite droll for a movie about the villain(who ironically was the protagonist)However, despite these setbacks it was beautifully written and I believe that is what brought me in. Before I had watched the movie I had heard that it was simply amazing but being given the fact that I was biased to believe that Disney was the better animation company I never had given it a chance.
It was later that I began to see these small yellow creatures called Minions and their extreme popularity. Soon little by little without finding out I had found out that I was slowly giving in and needed to see what it was that all this hype was about. After my Chemistry teacher had began to play it for his class I began to see why it was that people had liked this film. It was staggeringly great!
Despite the first third of an hour which you have no plot or protagonist to root for and support. But that all begins to change once he has a meeting with his minions.
The minions are so incredibly silly that it could be the only thing that leaves this story well made. Because of the excess of these characters the directors, producers, story writers, etc. have the opportunity to do whatever they want with them. It is shown that several are used as test subjects and the audience is perfectly fine with it because of the slapstick humor and you know that if you lose one minion there are another million hiding in the basement. Whoever did get to be in charge of storyboard and animation for these characters must have had a blast because of their randomness and silly personalities.
Now the story was heartfelt and very dear to me. There was an abundant amount of comedy and emotion within this actual film. I believed that this was good in terms that I believe the principal that "for every laugh there should be a tear." it was before I saw that Character of Miranda Cosgrove that I was in love with the story. To be honest I do like her series on Nickelodeon but that character of hers, "Margo" is one that I extremely despise. Of course I saw that her character was necessary for the actual plot and balance of the two other sisters I saw her as a nuisance! Apart from the fact that she kept being a Debbie Downer to her sisters she tried to have good fun at the same time. She was a character that could have been better depicted and better rounded. Of course the story does not focus on her much but nonetheless if you are going to have a pessimistic little girl always dispirit her younger sisters of hope and happiness at least depict why she would feel that way even though it is plain obvious. Show a small back story to help the audience better understand that character.
In response to the actual film as a whole I say that it was well made and served nicely to the point that I enjoyed it. But to better understand me without actually spoiling the movie I say that you go and watch it for yourself. It is such a fabulous movie in terms of comedy and that rich story.

Ok let me clarify that Hans Christian Anderson is the best writer there had ever lived. I just love his fairy tales. And me being inside me my Spanish Class (already finished with a test) take out my Ipod and begin to hear my music.

I take a gander onto my fairy-tale app and see the nightingale piece right there sitting right there in the open. I start to read the actual fairy tale and I must say I am glad that I did read it. The story is so beautifully written that I had almost been put to tears (listening to heavens light during the climax didn't help too much either). The Nightingale is basically about a bird who has the most beautiful voice anyone has heard. The japanese emperor send the chinese emperor a book saying all of the beautiful things in china but the most beautiful being the voice of the Nightingale. The emperor summons the bird into his court to sing and does so every-night. he tears up with the music and calls a music maker to mimic the birds voice with a machine. He does it so perfectly that the bird is no longer needed and is banished from china... and the rest must be read for yourself.

Its really good and I guarantee you'll like it. Heck, even Walt Disney proposed to make a short off of this piece but was dropped. Later on Lassetar tried to pick it up in the Disney Renaissance but couldn't make the story work. Another artist at Disney tried to turn this into a film but couldn't make story work.

And because of all these failures I wanna give a go at it too... but I have to talk to my collaborator about it first because she might not like the idea of doing the secret project and the Nightingale. But I do believe that I could convince her... so far I have already began to design come characters for my own version of this fairy-tale. I'm going to have the pieces up by the following monday. I am really intrigued with this story and really want to make it a reality. After all it can't be THAT hard making a fairy-tale adaptable.

I have left all of you with no goodbyes. More importantly I keep returning with promises that I never fulfill. I-- I should go and leave into a horrible place. I should go and die into a deep and dark black pit where there ae no such things as Turtles and tacos and Disney and oreos. I have been having the biggest feeling of guilt these past weeks because I have no done anything on deviantart :C IM A BAD PERSON! I haven't updated since last year. So I must say the following: Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, Happy Thanksgiving, Happy Black Friday (yes that is a holiday). That is all that I can remember for now.

Also with the secret project. Me and my friend, have been working out story.... and let me tell you, Story seems to be a BIG BIG problem... only because we keep forgetting things we have discussed and remembering or changing things along the way. I pitched the idea to a friend and she loved it! I feel the ending is too short or too rushed. I need to extend it at least a bit. :T

I have found a SCANNER!!!!!!!!!!! Only problem is that I could only use it once a week during the 30 minutes of lunch. In which case I can't scan much... HOWEVER, I did upload more or less a lot this week. Including a watercolor painting that I HOPE to upload this week. And speaking of Watercolor I'm trying to find out exactly HOW it works... wish me luck.

Storyteller is in my "wasteland" so to say along with MANY of my other characters. Speaking of which I got epic mickey for Christmas and it is probably the BEST game Disney Interactive has come out with EVER. I am more of a paint user in the game in which I help the town and stuff like that. It is a great game and just BEAUTIFUL story however let me tell you that the camera control is pure CRAP! It gets difficult in the game to just follow the character the way YOU want. I guess story makes up for it though, I cant complain THAT much. Oh and the game came with a Mickey figurine (which I added to my collection) and a wii remote skin. I love it!

With the new years resolution out and about i PLAN to storyboard and finish scripting Showhooked. It has potential and i am DYING to learn how to storyboard especially since I have seen a storyboarded version of "Defying Gravity" from Wicked made by 3 workers at Disney and it was HEAVEN!!!!! I'll post a link later this week pertaining a link to it. I hope they do get to tackle the project. It would be interesting getting to see a movie about Elpheba.

Prunella... I'm beggining to storyboard a scene very dear to me in the story which is... well I'll explain when I post it later this month or next month. By the way I changed the name of this project to "untitled" just because it is NOT based on the original fairy tale WHATSOEVER! however there is a slave girl inside a Vineyard. I like it. I have a lot of work to do if I want to pitch this story like I do SSMP which I explained above.

I saw my first musical which was Beauty and the beast. It was bautiful and I just fell in love with the entire concept that are musicals. OHMAHGOSH!!!! I am DYING to see wicked!!!! but there are no opening productions in my area. I an FOREVER ALONE!!! well to be honest I dont believe there is anymore that I could say that I am in love with musicals now... except for annie. Annie should go Die in hell with her optomistic little behind. She has to realise that she shouldn't be singing if shes an ORPHAN WHO LIVES THE F*&^ing HARD KNOCK LIFE!!! UGH!!!! annie aggrivates me to death... ':T
